• An offshoot of MECA-USA, the Manyu Economic and Development World Conference (MEDWC) was created in December of 2003 in an attempt to integrate the efforts of the different organizations involved in the multiple facets of Manyu economic revitalization.

• MEDWC organizes an economic and development world conference every two years, in one of the four sub divisions of Manyu.  The conferences seek to attract the different stake holders/interested parties in Manyu development to a common forum where pertinent Manyu revitalization issues can be addressed.
